O Pequeno Castelo, the Little Castle, offers you double rooms B&B and self-catering apartments off the beaten track in a friendly and homely setting. You will find us only ten minutes by car from the beach of Pedras d´el Rei and 4 miles from the picturesque town of Tavira. Santo Estevão (Saint Stephen), a typical Algarvian village is only about one mile or a fifteen minute walk along orchards of carobs, figs, oranges, almonds and olives. In the village you will find a small but very good restaurant, coffee shops, mini-markets, post-office, chemist and a hairdresser. Enjoy your breakfast on the veranda with a splendid view over the Atlantic. At the little castle you can enjoy your holidays in a pastoral area away from mass-tourism in a true Portuguese atmosphere. There are excellent walking tracks where spectacular scenery and gently rolling hills offer you the chance to get to know the country and its people.
